Words...

...if you search for a deffinition, you will see that a Word  „is the smallest element that may be uttered in isolation with semantic or pragmatic content (with literal or practical meaning)”.

Why is it that we talk so much? It’s something like wanting to share everything with someone, tell them (him/her) what we feel , wanting them to be part of our experience and in the same time... do not let them know our fears and flaws, so we can look strong and powerfull in front of everybody even if we are hurt, we are down,we have so many problems...

We talk each day with so many people, at work, while shopping, with our family, with our friends, each time words come out differently, depending on what we want to express. (read more)

But there is another category of people we talk to...with whom we cannot pretend to be someone else, when we share our deepest secrets, speak about anything  and do not feel bad by doing so, to  which we have no fear of sharing and....here comes the best part....with which we talk so easily that we do not feel time passing by.  These are the special ones, if you search around you , you’ll be surprised that there are not too many.

And why do they stay around us when we have so many problems and talk so much each day ? Well, they just do...because we are part of their life and they are part of ours ... cannot deny it, it is a true thing.

Words...no matter the language, they express exactly what you want them to...bringing people closer one to another..seems insignificant but in fact, words define us, and if you use them carefully, you may succeed...

Time.....

...a great factor involved in our lives, struggling to compete with our desires and hopes and in the end, defeating our plans with just seconds before trying to complete them.

Time...comes and goes, it is never enough, it is always following us with just one step behind, and most of the times, exceeds us. Why isn’t there enough time, why is it so volatile...why does it feel like it is less and less time for anything ?

True fact is that we can make time to do everything we want... if we really want to , we can force ourselves to fight it and conquer, but for this , we have to really want to achieve something,and this means...from the bottom of the heart.

No, it is really wrong to leave yourself behind for the joy and happiness of others, if you want something, do not wait forever, time is flying, it comes close to you ,round and round, smiles at you and then....it is gone before you know it. There is nothing that can stay in your way when you are decided to do it, try to liberate your spirit and think outside the box .

If you want to fly, go and rent a plane/helicopter/paragliding ...and fulfil your dream, if you want to dive, go and dive into the deepest ocean and see all its mysteries, if you want to discover the world, do not waste your time on shopping city breaks, there are so many exotic destinations, beautiful places that you never dreamed they exist ...go there, see it and learn from it that life is too short to wait forever for something to fall from the sky ... Or at least this is what I would /will do.

We are so small and yet so big, as we have the power to decide, and time.... time can be defeated, just belive in yourself and remember that time flies, it is not waiting for you to have courage to lift up, to speak, to run or hide, but when you decide to do it, you will notice that all the nature will conspire to help you accomplish your dream. As odd as it may seems, this is true.

So, what are you waiting for? Remember time is flying...

Home cooking

Today  I cooked a mediterranean recipe, just to remind me of the summer days that are allmost gone, Beer-battered fried calamari rings ...it is actually a receipe from Jamie Oliver, but in the end it turned to be really tasty next to the horseradish sauce.

Thoughts

There will always be someone...that someone interesting that makes the life more vibrant each and every day, could be the person that sings in a band , could be the new lab partner, could be a total stranger that you see every day in the metro...and also, it could be your coleague, the good guy always willing to help you asking nothing in return... tall or short, fat or slim.... the thing is...there will always be that someone who is making your days brighter and nicer ... he is there ,somewhere next to you, just that you need to see it, and maybe then you will realize that your priorities in life should be different.

There are many people upset with life , searching in vain for their soulmate, some get married but never get to know real love, even if at the beginning they feel like it, everything appears to be just a flame of passion, which gets lost with time. The truth is that no one can say exactly if a soulmate exists until (and if) they find it , I belive that if you are taking the right decision at the right time, you can get cought up in the vortex of life, where only the strong ones manage to survive, couples break up, families get torn apart , just because you made a cautious decision some long time ago, and followed „the right way” instead of following your dreams and your heart. You should take risks in order to be able to achieve what you really want.


Yes, this is an utopia of life, one day you feel you’re the king of the world and the next thing you know, you fall deeper then you were when you started to climb the steps. What to do then? Well... you have to keep walking, never give up, be a fighter, indeed life is hard sometimes, and most of the times all the bad things come together, tragedies happen all the time, you begin to think that you were cursed,that life has no meaning, that you will never become what you want and the whole nature is plotting against your existence.... you feel so small ...but you don’t realize that actually there is someone....someone who is willing to take a chance and share your problems, not to follow the rules ,and to help you overcome this battle you have inside....


Just look deeper...For every problem there is a resolution, after every storm the sun will rise, after every tear a smile will come. Just think of it and take the chance, to avoid asking yourself „what if” in the future.

Intro

To express yourself trough words is a matter of being,you can be somebody on the outside but on the inside you can think differently.Why do people start blogging? I used to ask myself that ,and I reached the conclusion that for some of us, being someone known by everyone else it's not enough.

The poems are a way of expressing the inside feelings at a certain time.Why they appear, I honestly don't know,but who asks an artist why did he created a masterpiece, they are all wondering who was the muse...

Well, the muse may be you ...it's just that you need to figure it out yourself :)
